Mortal Kombat X - End of Reality

I was able to complete the entire Story Mode of Mortal Kombat X. But after a while, I checked the forums in the Mortal Kombat wiki and have discovered a quote that states:
"Cassie Cage defeating Shinnok only mirrored what Johnny Cage did 25 years before." To me, while the Cage Family twist in the story has kinda of unexpected, but it felt
a little bit disappointing to me, as I obviously didn't like the Cage Family aside from Mr. Johnny Cage himself due to his puns. 

And I still think that Corrupted Shinnok is cheap due to his Inferno Blast that he does in his demon chest...
